He sang 2 songs, a duet with Petula Clarke coming to Chicago or going to Chicago? & I cant remember the other one.

Cameras werent allowed in the arena, neither were umbrellas?!!?

But I do think it was filmed for a dvd or just archive for Montruex maybe?

I am not a big fan of the "old" Country Music...like Porter Waggoner, Buck Owens, Loretta Lynn, etc. These days, though, Country Music encompasses so many different styles and I like a lot of it. I think when they don't know what to call an artist's style of music, they just label it Country. With that said, Paolo can do some "Hog Callin'", and I would love it! Big Grin

If Paolo wants to make a CD with 14 different styles of music on it....Whoopeee....I'd buy it and gladly bother all my (ex?)friends about gettin their own download/cd copy of it....
the 1st thing I love about Paolo is the originality and passion in his voice...
the 2nd thing is the evolutionary quality of his material...
he is always growing musically....he seems Natural...not packaged/confined as an artist...very cool! Cool

Ok ...here's my negative comments.....
PLEASE, PLEASE don't have the same Video director as the songs off of 'These Streets' had....
I don't want to see Paolo slapped or shot or left lonely at some dark hotel.....
I liked New Shoes video but none of the others...UK or USA versions.....
If Paolo has to direct and film them himself...I'm willing to wait for less violent videos....LOL! Roll Eyes

I thought his videos were pretty good.I especially liked when the girl took his shirt off in JDBH Big Grin The UK versions are way better than the US.Why they felt they need to put out multiple videos is beyond me.Then again, I like Paolo anytime, anywhere Wink

The morning after the show I met two men at our hostel, type mid-age jazz lovers, and they were discussing the show mentioning "that young scottish singer with Italian name singing with Petula Clarke, wow,he was pretty awesome, what a voice !!! Don't remember his name...hmmm...ah yes, Franco Ambrosetti.."

...
Ah yes, the Scottish singer with the Italian name. EVEN I'M getting confused, as all the guys at my husband's office have been calling him Pablo Fazolli since last year, and it kinda stuck!

If you would like to see Paolo do a beautiful all acoustic rendition of "Tricks of the Trade" follow the link below to the video... Just Paolo and his guitar. Heaven.

Here:

http://www.tsr.ch/tsr/index.html?siteSect=202000&y=2008&dossier=festivals

He is amazing. Simply wonderful. His voice is full and strong, and his guitar playing here is just awesome. I was so moved by it.

I couldn't capture it and link directly to it, my computer is a dinosaur, so maybe someone else can. It's about half way down the page and to the right.
