Ok... I'm back... It wasn't 13 hours... it was 17 hours.... I felt like sleeping for 24 hours......

I tried downloading last night, but had issues with keeping my eyes open...

I've got my vids downloaded... I'm downloading them now and will be uploading them to my Youtube account and Multiply... I'll be posting my review and adding pics and then the links....... What I don't get done here in the next hour or two, I will finish later this evening.

I've missed 4 days of going to the gym and 4 days of swimming... At this rate I don't know if I can even do a half mile.... so... I'll post my links here in a bit...Kat

Okay.....
lets get started with some pictures...while I have another video uploading....

You have to understand that this was an adventure for Susan and I.... I left Denver FINALLY for the last time at 4:15 pm....on Monday afternoon.... I arrived in Pueblo at 6:00ish... to pick up Susan (aka Kimpy). We headed out on our adventure.... Both a bit nervous...because we were riding in a 1983 Subaru Hatchback that did not have a reverse.... Most people are scared when they see my ol' girl because she's got some rust and looks like she's been rode hard and put away wet.... Fortunately Susan wasn't a bit frightened and was excited as I was for our adventure to begin...... Now, Google and AAA had quoted our triptix as 12 -13 hours.... We being seasoned travelers thought....oh, we'll get there in 11 hours TOP.... jjjeechzzz..

Needless to say...but I must... Our 13 hour adventure took 17 hours.... this is going 70-80 miles an hour...stopping only for gas, quick pee's and once for 20 minutes because I'm diabetic and must eat...yeah yeah yeah,.....

At 10 hours, I had a gas station attendant tell me that it was another 5-6 hours to Dallas.... Susan and I looked at each other... said..."She's nuts... no way.... she's just trying to f*** with our heads..."

by the time we were on the outside of dallas 5-6 hours later...we were muttering in a oooops kind of way...guess she wasn't trying to f*** with our head....lol

After getting to the area...we scoped out the theater and the nearest hotel....too excited to sleep...I walked outside and took some snaps....

This was right outside the front door of the Marriot which was a block or two from the house of blues....Down to the right at the end of the building is where the very back stage door is and where any meets would take place...a car length or two further to the right is where they would back their bus up into a garage type area...
Outside the Marriott

Back of HOB's...far right in the grayish part of building is where the stage door is...

This is the front of the house of blues and the Marque.....

After this I go back and sleep for 45 minutes then we run over for after sound check....We meet the openers and Serena Ryder is just the sweetest and nicest.... (everyone says that but it's true)... Sara Bareilles Band was just the nicest people too.... they had just arrived in their white van and little uhaul trailer... geeze... they were all piled in that one van...

Finally the boys started rolling out.... Mick and Jim Came out. We didn't pressure for pictures except for Jim. We didn't get one in Denver so he was kind enough to let us get a shot.... Mick loves to converse so we got to chat for a good 10-15 minutes.... Here's us with Jim...
Me then Susan

More to come in a bit...just posted another video on my multiply....(my all time favorite)
http://denverkat276.multiply.com/video/item/11/HOB_Dall...and--Funky_Cigarette

Ok, after talking with the boys HOB's security told us in a way that wouldn't sound like everyone was being ...well, you know... basically they didn't want us holding them up that they had to get ready...whatever...we were going back anyway... needed to eat..get our complimentary wine and before concert snack... and I wanted to change.... We also found a way to get ahead of everyone in line...lol...so we were cool...went back to the hotel.....changed, ate, had a couple of glasses of wine and snagged a few beers for after the concert...lol

headed back over to the HOB'S...went into the store bought some really cool things...and got in line before everyone else... we were like 10th in line.... We opted to be more on Micks side. Paolo tends to look in his direction more than to Donny's or even forward for that matter.... in my vids... there are more than one occassion that I've been able to get all four of them in the shot....especially when they Jam....

Here are some of the pictures...some with the zoom wasn't that good... but they are satisfactory for us....

starting with a local young man named Jonathon Clay....he was cute and could strum that guitar. We liked him...

Miss Serena Ryder....FABULOUS GIRL!!! Loved her!!
Sara Bareilles was well recepted and we loved her. Her bass player and Drummer were the nicest of guys before, during and after the concert...

After Sara Bareilles, the curtain shut for the final time before the boys all came out.... Like most of you have heard here in the State's tour...that quite famous Rocky's Theme Song came on.... intensely we waiting for the curtain to part...then finally it did......

Like most of you have heard here in the State's tour...that quite famous Rocky's Theme Song came on.... intensely we waiting for the curtain to part...then finally it did......Mick, and what looks like Slouch buckling in Jim to his Drum Kit....lol

Donny looking like..... Come on Paolo...let's get this going on....
Then here he comes...swinging his arms in that Alloway Grove Rythmn that we all love....

Here they are all...most anyway...Anything that I don't post on this thread, I will post all good bad and the ugly on my multiply... I also have some snipets of video from Denver before we got our hands SLAPPED!!!
House of Blues didn't care one bit.... Loved that...I hid one camera just in case they busted me with one...but she said that they use to care but no longer worried about it...take it in she say's lol...yeeeha

There was a lot of smoke coming out of the ceiling light area....it made some of these pics really smokey looking even with adjustments....lol

still waiting on more pics to upload...here is the Trouble so hard video
http://denverkat276.multiply.com/video/item/12/HOBs_Dal..._TROUBLE_SO_HARD.MOV

Ok, I've got to add the picture of the signed Scots flag... then that is it.... The rest you'll be able to see on my multiply page.... I've got to organize them all, as well as, I've got to organize and add the Denver pics.... I'll add even the little snipets of videos that we were able to snag in Denver before we were spanked at the Paramount... Enjoy...

Hope that the Nashville, Atlanta, and New orleans are just as great if not even better...

I can tell you that these pictures do not depict just how much they rocked.....I've still got one or two more video's to add to my multiply and that will be that... Now it's time to get back to my regular life...hahaha... as normal as one can be after a show like that....

Thanks Erin....

Oh, we were glad too that we made it safe and sound, but I have to tell you... 34 hours total drive time and only about 3.5 hours sleep in 3 days.... so well worth it....lol I would do it again in a heartbeat.... It's a trip that I will savor and treasure forever.... We were numb the entire way back....and listened to only them the entire way back... then would talk about each song that we heard them do.... It was long but soooo well worth it

I think that they are getting hotter and hotter with each gig...... Denver was an excellent gig, but 5 days later in Dallas....and entirely different level....

Nashville tonight and Atlanta on Sunday.... There is no doubt that by the time that they get to Sunday.... these boys will put it all out....they are going to rock the lid off that venue....

Paolo was in a form and in his oh so perfect paolo zone........ Donny, I can't even put into words how he rocks on that freakn' guitar.... Mick was in some bassist heaven.... Jim..... well, (it's an oldie but an oldie), he didn't miss a beat and absolutely hammered them bongos....lol....

So well worth it...... again...so well worth it....lol

Ok, those of you who are going through some serious withdraw....

I finally got a couple of videos loaded on multiply. Rewind in Dallas and apparently we had a full slice on Alloway Grove in Denver..... It's a more distant view, sound is good though...

Dallas... I had to clip on the last 15 seconds.... took me a minute to figure out how to do that....

Enjoy....
