Bib, yes, she was trying to explain to me that the box office only sells tickets on the day of the event. THAT is what irritated me with her since I had already made clear that I wasn't calling to secure tickets but to determine whether or not I would need to tickets I had already secured. She obviously was not aware that advance tickets were being sold through a third party. At that point, I was finished dealing with her because she obviously is not going to be the person who can help me.

I will most definately lodge a complaint. I'm just not going to waste my breath on a lower level employee or incompetent manager who clearly doesn't have the means or authority to solve my problem. I've put my feelers out and am pretty sure (crosses fingers) I've got our cabanna problem cleared up and won't have to worry that I've pissed off someone who might be in a position to pee in my daiquiri.

Geezo...what a story. Oh I would be pretty upset,too.
Reminds me at my struggles to lay off a telephone connection for my mum's house in Germany..pure incompetence at it's best

Okay...anyway...you should purr into the hotel managers ears that there is a delegation of about 17 people from fan board making plans to come to this show and many of them staying in his bloody hotel...and that this is all about because a wee promotional invent is about to happen in his hotel,which may even attend some media and press, if things work fine. Artist's management will be involved anyway.
Couldn't it just be a good promotion for his company,too ??? Some side effect ?
Or does he even want his hotel to be part of it in a bad way ? Oh,normally they really care of a good reputation,don't they ?????
This should be mentioned by the way I think...

And if you wonder what I am talking about...there will be a quilt given to a certain artist before or after this show

Why not use it ...maybe even a bit overdone ?!

At this point I would have asked to speak with HER supervisor. If she said (again) that she's the box office manager, I would have asked, "You mean to tell me YOU are the box office manager and YOU don't know that Ticketmaster is selling advance tickets to this concert??? No! I want to speak to YOUR supervisor. Someone there must know that these tickets are being sold to the public. I want to talk to that person." Then if that doesn't work I would have asked her to transfer me to the hotel managers office.
