It will definitely work. I have to tell you that in ohio, I was always breaking out in rashes and hives from the heat. Dry heat is different... also, with the humidity, you don't realize that you're dehydrated.... In the dry heat, if you keep hydrated you won't get the hives/rashes. I don't know why, but it works. WATER!!!

I used to get heats rashes constantly as a child. They went away for a few years then came back every now and again in my 20's. What I've discovered works is sunscreen! Blocks that sun from buring up your skin... Wink

FYI - I just was on the Hard Rock Hotel website to make a change to our reservation and I was able to get cheaper rates.

We got rates of $79 Thurs, $229 Fri, $299 Sat.
It is still super expensive for Saturday but the Thursday price makes up for it. Split with a roomie and it's not too bad.

If you are interested, I clicked on the "Blazing Summer Rates" icon on the right side of the main page to get to these rates.

Can't wait to meet everyone! Cool

Betsy - you are a travel agent...you can get a room at the Four Seasons for about $163.00 per night....share that with four or three or two and comes out cheaper than the Hard Rock and still leave you $$ for a taxi. I'll be there for the 14th and 15th. Although I have a free place to stay, I wanted to be closer to the Hard Rock for the night of the 15th and decided to treat myself to the best in town. Maybe I'll see you there too!

Yes, right now we are set for the hotel across the street for Friday and Saturday night....or at least that's what I thought. I'm fine with that - just thought the Hard Rock would be fun.

K@ and others can share my Hard Rock room thurs nite as it only cost me $70.00 due to the special rate/discount....
K@ hasent said when she's flying in to Vegas....so I can share with 2 or 3 others...depending on her plans....

also I still have 2 meet and greet tickets for SanDiego that I can offer....

and of course let's not forget...I'm always avaiable for free Acupuncture treatments in Vegas to help with the massive hangovers....LOL!

I'm in on Thursday Afternoon.... Actually my frontier flight is suppose to arrive @ 12:24 Vegas time.... I will be stopping by the airport bar for a relaxing quick cocktail...as I get extremely nervous flying...

To me it's like going to the dentist...never as bad as you think it is going to be... but the anticipation is nerve-racking...

Dahling...I don't have the right clothes or jewels to hang at the 4 Seasons! Actually got a great agent rate at the Hyatt, and we'll all just stop traffic to dash across Paradise Blvd. if there are any sightings at Hard Rock that we need to investigate!

Good to hear everyone has found a place to stay!
Maybe we need to set a time and place on Thurs. night to meet up and form a game plan for Fri. night. I plan to be at the Hard Rock most of the day on Friday and will cruise by a couple of times Thurs. night. Any other plans or suggestions? I agree, there will be sightings....hopefully a big silver bus will be the clue they have arrived and are on sight. Only 14 days to go! BTW Betsy....no jewels or proper clothing needed at Four Seasons or I would not be comfortable there...I like the quiet lobby, lack of casino noise, a very peaceful pool area and as my hubby will be along it has a more romantic feel than many other hotels. See everyone soon!
