First of all, I d like to say hi to all of you. I haven't been on the forum for a long time ! But Paolo is of course still in my mind, heart and ears.
Ive been in Montreux. The show really rocked. Strawberry letter 23 what an amazing song! Paolo was brilliant. Really down to earth as usual. At the end when Q thanked everyone personally, Paolo was in the background, low profile...Claude Nobs pushed him forward and he received a big thank you from Q. Claude Nobs is an amazing man, and I m really grateful that he has brought Paolo to Montreux for the 3rd time!!! Gurten Festival Nutini is like a drug. The most addictive one. Once you ve tried you never can stop...At least it is not bad for your health.right? The guys were incredible. Such an amazing vibe. I must admit my fave one was this gorgeous man with the "dragon shirt". I m serious. I have always admired people who are staying young in their mind! And I really think that man is even younger than me. (I m 26). I didn't have the chance to have a pic with him  Paolo played a lot of new songs and his new album is going to be another gem...  Glad you enjoyed the shows. You were very lucky to see them both. Paolo does have some great new songs, doesn't he... It sounds like Claude and Quincy both are very impressed with Paolo. That's great. Hope you got to see Paolo dancing at the festival, that is so fun to watch! I will be looking forward to seeing your pics. Very excited.This message has been edited. I LOVE Claude Nobs, he's the Hugh Hefner of the music industry
 Dewi 3 of us from the boards were at the gig too, it was something else. It wasnt a concert it was an experience - I just regret I didnt take my 2008 edition of Who's Who with me  I look forward to seeing your photos

Hey,I'm just arrid back at home from Gurtenfestival and Luxembourg gigs....and......
GURTENFESTIVAL WAS A HELL OF A SHOW !!!!!!! They rocked,rocked,rocked,I was totally blown away from their energy. It was goosebumpy dreamlike fabbytastic....*faints* There were some very nice moments during the show,there were many beach balls "floating" above the crowd and once one of them hit Paolo ,just during a song and he saw it and kicked the ball with his head ,it was hilarious,well done,boy !!! Then two balloons were flying just over the crowd and people up there started to wave and all people down waved back,including Paolo...it was incredible. A very relaxed peaceful have-fun-in-the-sunshine-vibe.... It was one of the best shows I've ever seen of him !!!! Met the lads they day after at Luxembourg and chatted about the Berne gig,they all really enjoyed it and loved the place. It's a wonderful festival at a wonderful place. the gig was filmed and surely will be broadcasted at swiss TV sometimes....can't wait !
