Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW What a Ride!

I was thinking about it but to be back at Georges Square for 11pm i'd need to get the train at 10pm from Edinburgh. It would depend on what time Paolo actually takes the stage but I dont see me being able to do it. i'm not sure how the trains will run on Hogmanay night & any other transport on New Years night would way out of my league financially.

Glasgow sounds good Cool

Sure am!! (Only Glasgow. Couldn't hack Edinburgh at Hogmanay...)

Mind you, I probably won't be able to afford a hotel in Glasgow at that time of year... but I'll have a go at finding a bargain Razzer

Geezo, I hope you didn't think I was hinting?!? Good gawd no! Abso-bloody-lutely not! (I was aware you had a full-house, for a start Wink )

I'll find something...

That is a worry actually. The A82 and the A9 in the depths of winter are no joke. I don't wanna get stranded on the Drumochter Pass (at least, not on the way south Eeker ) It would also be a bit of a pig to get all the way down there, only to have the bloody thing cancelled...

Still we can't control the weather. We've just gotta hope for the best...

Definitely -- let's get scooshing!

I didnt think you were hinting at all.

We should all chip in and hire a room in the swanky hotel that looks onto georges square, we'd have somewhere warm to watch the gig from if the weather was too bad.

Knowing my luck the stage would back onto the hotel or the only room left would be in the bowels of the building with a 'gutter' view Roll Eyes
