The crushing/fighting & head-butting wasnt good. but that wasnt Paolo fans, that was just party goers celebrating Hogmanay the only way they know how. get drunk & go home with a bruise Razzer

The funny thing about 'Down in Mexico' is I had lost everyone, I gave my daughter my mobile phone and had no-way of contacting anyone but I stopped my search to video this song. When we all finally met up & got home we realised that we were standing in almost identical places at the same time but we still missed each other Roll Eyes

>> schneckie your pictures left me speechless again <<

Awww, Lovely Luc - thank you!
Glad you liked the photographs

>> Schneckie, this picture is absolutely amazing. Is it a water fall? <<

Hi Mapleleaf
No it's not a waterfall it's just a steep damp bank in a sheltered spot. Isn't it fab??

Hi Michelle
Maybe your wee guy is much younger than mine. Schneckie Jnr didn't put on a serious growth spurt until he was 17 yrs old. Up until then he looked primary-school age (and I'm not kidding!).
Glad you liked the pics

Hi Paula & Sambista
Nice one on getting all those videos sorted! Brings it all right back...

A week ago today I was hurtling down the A9, full of excitement and expectation...

<sigh>

What a grand couple of days it turned out to be, Hogmanay in Glasgow, 2008...

Good, then there's hope for him. Smiler He's only 11 so he's got a few more years for that growth spurt. My dad didn't have his growth spurt until about age 16 too.

What a lovely thing to say Thank you BeWall.

On this same theme, I opened my new Zen calendar last night (always late, that's me). I particularly like this quote:

Everything has its beauty
but not everyone sees it

Can't argue with that

Plenty time! None of our family is tall but my son suddenly shot up in his late teens and I'm not sure he's stopped growing yet...

>> Simply wonderful! <<

Thanks Stacy. I still get giddy remembering it
