I know Auld Lang Syne was mentioned somewhere on this forum not so long ago, but I can't find it so I'll just stick this on Paolo's Hogmanay '08 thread....

I heard this version while watching the film 'Sex and the City' on a flight last week. It had me quietly greetin' in no time....

It's by Mairi Campbell and Dave Francis and it's beautiful.

Auld Lang Syne

Auld Lang Syne - Paolo Style

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW What a Ride!

I'm sure he will get back in time but it means he wont be able to mingle long with the Edinburgh crowd Frowner

Oh Petra... You & the Boys should come too Eeker

Infact EVERYBODY should come... I have a tent you could all sleep in, its only a 2 man tent... I like to desrcribe it as 'cosy' i'm sure we'd have plenty laughs and photographic evidence of a great & funny Hogmanay

I've kept that episode of Phil Cunningham's musical journey around Scotland on our Sky+ box, with a view to never deleting it (!)

I watched Paolo's wee segment again last night, after X-Factor....

SUPERB
