Dear Paolo fans,

As you know, Paolo's London showcase takes place tonight (Tuesday 7th April).

First of all, thank you so much to the 5,000 people that entered the competition - some of you far away from the UK. It's amazing that so many of you care so much about Paolo and want to come to this special night.

However, with a guestlist limited to about 400 fans, a majority were going to be disappointed. We had a dedicated team of people contacting potential winners to nail the guestlist in time. Some of you missed our calls and for that we're very sorry. It's estimated that we made around 2,000 calls before the fan guestlist was fully confirmed, with winners notified.

There appears to be some confusion over an email that was sent to people who had not been notified by email that they are winners. This was a genuine mistake and oversight made by Atlantic Records UK (part of Warner Music Group). It is very difficult to co-ordinate an extremely limited guestlist of people from 5,000 people who have entered, and we hope you can appreciate that a lot of time and effort went into this.

I'm afraid those people who received an email but no call have not been lucky enough to win this time. I'm afraid you have only won if you have received a phone call and spoken to an Atlantic Records Uk representative. So if you received an email and no call, please do not turn up to the venue tonight as you will be refused entry.

Congratulations to the winners and see you tonight. We're very sorry for those of you who didn't win this time, but rest assured you have an amazing album to hear very soon and there will be plenty of other opportunities to win Paolo prizes in the exciting months ahead.
