I am hearing Paolo from cars driving by "candy" is the song of the summer.
Also 10/10 was playing in the back ground of Coronation St the other day!!!!!!!!!! I was chuffed !

I was scanning the boob tube for something interesting and low and behold there was Paolo singing some blues tune....I kept the channel on and watched him, he was so captivating, I just had to watch the whole thing. I have since bought all his CD's and tried 4 different concerts to get tickets and he was just plain sold out on his North American tour. I just cannot get enough of that sound !

PC, oh gosh, I've heard him on tv and live. I would suggest keeping in touch here and also. . .um. . .I don't know where you live, but if there are venues where you think he might play, or know he's played before, check their websites. Sometimes the venues will have artists on their calendars before the artist has the venue listed on their own gig pages. That'll give you a heads-up.

Hi PC Your story sounds familiar here. I was unable to see him in 2006/7, but waited and he came back to Portland. So we followed them from Portland to Spokane (where I met him) and on to Seattle. We now have tickets for the 4 shows, Portland, Boise, Missoula, & Seattle. I originally heard Paolo two years ago. New Shoes and Last Request were on the cd that played in the children's clothing store I worked at. I loved the songs right away but I didn't even look into who sang them until about a year ago. The rest, as they say, is history.

I'm gobsmacked bout the result of Coming Up Easy last week and if I'm right no major improvement this week. Don't think their has been enough promo done for this at all, so so bad given it's such a top tune!!

Spread the word via every website you know. Talk about it to everyone & if need be take the disk with you and play it.

Go into HMV and ask if they can play the CD for you, say your considering buying the album but want to hear some of it first. They will do this for you if someone hasnt already requested something just before you. That way other people in the store will hear it too

Place SSU in the number one spot in all the music stores you know but dont get caught...

Go to other forums and drop a thread in there...

Email, text or call radio stations and ask them to play it... you'll find email addresses on each radio station website. Do the same with TV shows.

And most of all keep voting! Dont vote for most handsome man or best mic stand, vote for chart positions & song related voting.

Thats just some of the stuff I do

About 6 weeks ago I was in the Anthropologie store in Las Vegas and heard Coming Up Easy. I nearly flipped out! There was a salesman walking past me with an arm loaded down with clothing and I nearly shocked the poor guy as I scream with delight! He then had to stop and listen with me and hear all about my Paolo adventures. I also heard Candy in many of the casinos during my week in Vegas.
And....I am voting like crazy each week on VH1 top 20 countdown for both Candy and Coming Up Easy.

Paula, Carlyn and all - I tell literally everyone I have contact with about Paolo. To the point that my doctor plans on going to his concert in Portland, Oregon with Martha and me. But my eye doctor, regular doctors, transporers, grocery clerks all know about him. I am upset because there is no promotion on the west coast for him. I don't hear his new songs. Carlyn, I did hear Last Request in a restaurant about a year ago. He does have a loyal fan base in Portland and Seattle. Wish we could do more here. Cat

Thats cool you are getting a whole gang togeather. I agree about the no promotion I went down to buy the CD the day it came out and it was already on sale $5 off. They didn't even give him a day to sell. I talk him up and send videos though email every chance I get but thats about all I can do.
