I feel like a huge loser at the moment...but oh well it happens! As of lately its so hard to be blown away by mysic. It all honestly just souds the same...And I know being a singer/songwriter its so hard to not sound the same as some artist around. BUT...ahhh..Whenever I heard Paolo Nutini sing on some random show that I have never watched in my entire life I was really blown away. And his music has me hooked...it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard! So there...there is my dorky moment...coming on a message board saying how amazing his voice was...now I'm done..

I hope your planning to stick around Danielle-Nichole?

I have to agree 100% about being blown away, when I first heard Paolo I had my back to the TV but he stopped me in my tracks and I actually got up and walked over to the Tv so I could confirm I was listening to the voice of the 21st century. Ive been hooked since!

I'm going to see him at the end of the month with Maggie (one of the other girls on here) She's really kool, infact everyone in here is really nice, never had any malice yet and if there has been its been dealt with immediately Big Grin

Whats your fav Paolo song?

I usually sleep with the television on and the only thing that usually wakes me up are infomertials- TV off. Last night I woke up to his music on a show I've never even heard of: Craig Ferguson and was beyond blown away. More feeling in his music than I've heard in a long time. I fully woke up (that never happens) and found the remote to figure out who this amazing performer is. Before peeing or taking the dog out this morning I ran to ITunes and found Paolo. Now I need a live performance and the new album. I'm passing the word around CT/NY and hope to see Paolo here soon!

"Jenny dont be hasty" was the song that played last night and that was the song that was "wow!" but my internet sucks big time so I havent been able to hear very much of his other stuff...every time I try to listen it starts skipping...and its making me SO mad!!!!
AND..to make it worse I can't go to Austin City Limits which I go to nearly every year because of a family reunion..and he's going to be there...so mad again! poo!

I am totally in agreement with Danielle. There is very little new music that sounds good enough to stop me in my tracks. I was walking past the TV last night when Craig Ferguson was on. When Paolo started singing Last Request, I just stood there. Then hit rewind on the DVR and watched again. Fabulous song and delivery. I just ordered the CD. I hope he has more US tour dates planned soon.

I'm sure America will see lots of Paolo...

Use word of mouth to enlighten others to the voice of the 21st Century Wink

Yeah!!!! Finally!!!!! Paolo's getting more coverage in the US. I actually set my alarm to watch him last night. I was really hoping he'd sit down for a segment, but unfortunately "new" artists usually don't get that chance.

I have a $100 bet with my 16 year-old son that by this time next year all the girls at his school will be in love with Paolo and his music. If my son planned it right, he could introduce Paolo NOW to all the cute girls. (Then he'd be really cool....)

I think thats a great idea Michelle... I think i'll have a bet with my hubby as to how long it will take Paolo to break America... There are a few huge british artist/bands that just couldnt do it but I have every confidence Paolo will soar just as soon as he lands there Big Grin
