Adele was good last night! (she’s playing Toronto again tonight at 6 PM at MTV – you can watch or if you’re in the area it’s not too late to head over; call for free tickets here.

It was a short 45-minute set - she was so nervous and seemed to be suffering a bit at the end. She was wickedly hungover and kept apologizing for getting drunk in Montreal the night before! However her voice was amazing even with crappy sound (feedback) and she was lots of fun, very personable. ! Here’s Hometown Glory from last night…

She’ll be back in N America in June and since she just signed to Columbia she’ll never be playing dives again!

Saw Newton Faulkner again on Monday and he was great – not a big turnout (Kate Nash was playing elsewhere,) but the funniest thing was when he broke out into some weird impersonations, and did “Paolo Nutini singing Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls!” It was hilarious, wish I had recorded it! I got some great photos and video. For those of you seeing him on this tour, enjoy!

I was wondering what you thought of this band...I dont think theyve let out music worldwide but i got the privilage to meet them last year and this song is just so beautiful!
(the harmonies in 2mins and 50secs are nice)

They are pretty good. Thanks Bella. I saw an Aussie Band last night.... "Sick Puppies". They put on a GREAT show and the bassist....well, she is FANTASTIC. You have to be able to go for that kind of sound though... Denver LOVED THEM...

Ok, I saw TWO UK bands last night!!!!

Elbow and Air Traffic. They were so freakin good. Look for a couple of Elbow Vids on Multiply later today or tomorrow. My friend Beth took the Air Traffic Videos. I was totally impressed. We weren't really sure what to expect and they totally flipped us....

I'm totally hooked. Beth was more into Air Traffic, who were very good and very sweet guys to meet, but Elbow, I FELL ABSOLUTELY in love with. I love their originality. My net is really weak, but I'm trying now to upload one of their vids to multiply as we speak.... They'll be back in the UK shortly, and here is their summer schedule.... looks like FESTIVAL Time for all of us...
