Ok, prior to the Bluegrass Festival, I became friends on my space with this artist named Brett Dennen.... OMG... after seeing him at the festival, you HAVE TO WITHOUT a doubt need to check him out.

If you love Paolo's soulfulness.... check him out. I got all fired up on him....

I saw Shawn Mullins last night!!! Great show. He played quite a few of his new songs and they sounded fantastic live. You know I love Shawn as much as Paolo so I needed to give him a plug. His new cd is called Honeydew. It's worth a listen.

Love Gavin Big Grin

I went to a little festival this weekend, a road trip to France to see Air Traffic (and dEUS). Air Traffic was great, i really love those guys. Empty Space was just amazing! After that song i could just stand there and clapp my hands, i couldn't say anything. Amazing!
dEUS is a Belgian band, apparently our best one, and they were great too. Lots of stage presence, good songs.
It was a fab night Big Grin

I saw Air Traffic here at my favorite venue, The Bluebird a couple of months ago. The were really good. Afterwards, we bought them a couple of beers and chatted it up with them. Pretty nice guys...

Cool photos! Thanks for the links. I saw them a couple months back opening for Elbow, too and I was bummed I couldn't catch them do their own gig the night after.

As for the Other Artist I'm currently listening to: Paddy Casey (anyone ever heard of him?)

Ok everyone,....

On Wednesday, I saw Stone Temple Pilots.... first time in 20 odd years that my tickets SUCKED.

Don't let anyone tell you that there are no bad seats in Red Rocks.....They are lying. I was really surprised how bad it sounded up top too. I thought maybe it would still sound pretty good.... NOPE.... But, it was still a good show....

LAST NIGHT!!!!

OMG...
I saw the first night on tour together, Collective Soul LIVE, and The Blues Travelers. My Daughter was suppose to go with me, but didn't so my son-in-law went and we had a blast.we were 3rd row, nearly center. I only had my crappy camera, but will post pictures on my multiply AFTER I finish editing and posting the rest of my Telluride pictures and my Warp Tour Pictures....

Ok everyone,

This is a sad story out of Colorado.

There is this band called Tickle Me Pink. They may be a bit harder for some of you and there are some that may just absolutely love them as I do. I saw them back in April for the first time and was so proud that they are ANOTHER Colorado band hitting National.

Beth and I hung out with them on Saturday and Sunday,... They remembered us from the show back in April(a couple of the members, every time they saw us, we got BIG Hugs,... yes, when they could be hanging with loads of hotty young girls). Anyway, Sunday was their last day on the Warp Tour, because on Tuesday, their Debut album Madeline was being released. It was a big thing here...... 2 of the guys lived together up in Fort Collins. Sean went to wake Johnny up for the Denver Post Interview and he was dead. They still released the album, but the release party at the big local record digs downtown, turned from a party to a memorial thing.....

The pictures that Beth and I took at Warp Tour were probably the absolute last show pictures of Johnny Schou performing with the band. Actually, one of my pictures is being featured on the front page of this Sunday's Denver Post Entertainment section.

They are checking out my myspace pictures and comments. I would appreciate anyone who has myspace and if they would take a gander at my pictures of them,... please show them some love in the comments.... these boys are really young.... 20 and barely over... Johnny Schou was 22 years old. Sad....

Tickle Me Pink myspace page,...
Link to my pictures... best I've ever taken
Oh, and the picture in their profile on Myspace, is one of the ones that I took of Johnny
Thanks.....
Sad K@

Teddy Geiger was on our local fox station this morning. He'll be playing at the House of Blues tonight. Here's the link to the video from this morning. Enjoy!

Mmmmmmm, a direct approach... I'll give that a go next time I see them ;-)

Last weekend i went to Rock Werchter, which is this huge festival in Belgium, and saw loads of amazing artists. Neil Young was there, REM, Air Traffic, Mika, Editors, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs,... John butler trio, MGMT and My morning jacket really amazed me, didn't really know their music but absolutely loved their gig :-)

Went last night to the Soiled Dove and saw Chris's favo Will HOGE... OMG... he was fantastic. The opener was another local who is in ca-hoots with all those Nashville artists that Marcela likes..... His name is Zack Nichols. Check him out... if you like acoustic....

WILL HOGE... he rocked though... actually, I more than saw him I got to hang with them,... and I worked their merch table... cool... I'm tired today though...ugh...
