Oh, he knows about it alright. God they were great.... Got a big hug from him... I guess the drummer, Siggi use to live here, but he/they ABSOLUTELY BLEW ME AWAY!!! Had a lot of people come up to the merch area and say,... I just didn't realize that he was this awesome....

He's another one that is SOOOOO freakin' good in show.... none of that polished stuff...

later...K@

Wow, he remembered me ?? That's cool, yeah it was Italy but I would even go to Spain to see him LOL

btw I love "When I can afford to lose" and "I'm sorry now"...and his acoustic performance of "Dirty little war" was stunning

Oh I would love to get the "America" EP,I downloaded the songs, but would love to get the album. Was hoping to get it at the gig but he had only "Draw the curtain" cause that's the first and only released in Italy...
And "Carousel"...I didn't manage to get that one here..

A Boston radio station (Mix 98.5) sponsors a summer lunchtime concert series at the Prudential Center in Boston. They hold free concerts four Thursdays during the summer. I found out yesterday that Matt Wertz and Newton Faulkner would be performing today. So....guess what I did during my lunch hour today. Big Grin

They were both great and so very personable! I took a few pictures and videos and will post them on my Multiply. What a great way to spend my lunch hour (well, it was more like two hours...shhhh).

Newton is hear for the Mile High Festival....

He's going to be playing at 5 pm tomorrow at the Denver Tech Center. I want to go, but I've got soooo much going this weekend.... plus, I'll see him.

My friend beth, the lucky devil got invited to go see Jason Mraz do a taping in our area. I would love to go see that even more than Newton... I'm insane...

Reminder of all the bands this weekend:
The lineup for July 19: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Steve Winwood, Michael Franti and Spearhead, O.A.R. (Of A Revolution), Spoon, moe., Citizen Cope, Brett Dennen, Newton Faulkner, Andrew Bird, Josh Ritter, State Radio, JJ Grey & Mofro, Bob Schneider, Meese, Born in the Flood, Railbenders.

The lineup for Sunday, July 20: Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, The Black Crowes, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Colbie Caillat, Ingrid Michaelson, OneRepublic, Flogging Molly, The Roots, Leftover Salmon, Martin Sexton, Flobots, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Tea Leaf Green, Rose Hill Drive, The New Mastersounds, Serena Ryder, The Photo Atlas.

We're mapping our way through this and leaving early on Saturday to go see a band that we street team for that is up from Dallas.... So this is a JET packed concert/show going weekend for us....

Because of the extra STreet Teaming that we did to get this gig through Atlantic Records... We are on OAR's guest list on Saturday and Serena Ryders on Sunday... cool huh...

I'm so fortunate that it isn't even funny.

I'm actually trying to up grade our passes by trying to win VIP passes... lol Ok, we were ruined by the Warp Tour all access passes, but if we when these, it's a done deal that we'll get to meet John Mayer,... and I've only lent him to Jennifer... lol
