anyone cant tell me why the concert live cd for newcastle 10 oct is no longer available?

is it sold out or it just has never been released?

Wow. I haven't been on this forum for a while, and some of the CDs being cancelled is news to me. I ordered Blackpool and Glasgow 15.10.2009. I originally ordered Dundee but had my order changed to Glasgow when it became available, too. I never received an email informing me about the cancellation and the offer, but I did get one about the postal strike sent on October 7. I don't have a spam filter on in my mail account because I very rarely get junk mail, so I don't think it was accidentally deleted before I could read it. Did anyone else who ordered any of the CDs now cancelled not receive the notice? I went and checked my order on the site briefly when I first read about this, and there were no changes. Anyone know what happened on the 15th? Did they sell the recording from the 14th instead? I'm glad I found out about this here, but I'm feeling the opposite about not being informed directly by the company. I'm a little confused, too...

After the first week, a decision was taken to cancel future recordings, though Glasgow 14th was still recorded, most probably as it was a home gig, and the demand for it was quite high.

If you pre ordered a recording which has since been cancelled, you can choose 2 alternative CDs from gigs which were recorded, so now you can have 2 CD's for price of 1 (only if CD you originally ordered was cancelled), or of course you can choose a refund. Either way you will need to email Concertlive with your order details and confirm which 2 CD's you'd like or confirm you'd like a refund.

Missymac, rather than just get 14th instead, you should be able to pick 14th, plus one of the other gigs, ie London.

Thanks for your reply, jacq. I'll have to contact them to get my order sorted out. The Blackpool CD that I ordered arrived yesterday. I loved listening to it; it would have been so nice to have gone to one of those UK gigs! Too bad the October 15 Glasgow recording was cancelled; it seemed to have been really great based on what I've read about it on the forum!

Also, thanks, Jacq, so much for posting the CD pics! I have my photo on there, but I'm too bashful to say where it is. It's a wonder that I even uploaded a pic since I'm the type who doesn't like to post photos of myself on the internet. It's nice to see the fan photos and those with Paolo and a few of the Vipers. I thought the pictures of the animals and other things were a cute idea; why didn't I think of that!
