Candy is my new favorite.I loved all the songs off "These Streets", but "Candy" takes the cake!I can't wait for the video either.I hope they didn't have another song in mind for the first single

yeah that's waht i think too. I expect this song to be a hit. I think it's even better than Last Request. The melody stay in your head and the words in the song are perfect!

And well, for a second single, i expect "Rainbows" !

There must be something wrong with me...I'm just not all that jazzed about "Candy". I don't dislike it, I just really like the other new songs a lot more. The funny thing is that I do really love the music of the song, but there is something about the lyrics that is keeping it from striking a chord with me.

I don't mean to imply that "Candy" isn't sincere, because I believe it is. But, when I listen to it I have the impression that it is almost too intentionally like "Last Request". Meaning the theme behind each is very similar but the depth of sentiment isn't there this time around. That's not to say there was any less emotion in the writing and presentation of "Candy", just that I personally don't feel the emotion of it.

I read all of your reactions to the song and then listen to it again thinking that whatever everyone else hears will jump out at me. So far, though, it hasn't happened. I almost feel guilty about it.

It has just been bugging me because I really WANT to like it more than I do. I'm am sure it will click with me soon enough.

Here's how I imagined this song come to pass..

Paolo was wanting some 'Candy" and Teri said, "Hey, I just took a bath and put on clean clothes....so, NO". (Been there and done that ). So he says, " OK, what if I bathe your skin and wash your clothes....WAIT, where's my guitar!!!!"

I think with Paolo and his music,..... eventually every song you find yourself crazy about....

Well, of course, New Shoes was my first favorite, (mainly because it was the first that I heard),....

I went all over the place between the rest....

Million Faces, Loving you and White Lies... Well, those three are always duking it out....

There's something about Alloway Grove though.... that just makes me want to start singing....lolol

Already the new ones are doing the samething....

I'm all over the place with them.... so, t., did you bounce all over the place with these streets,... or was there one that you didn't care for at first then later,... much later learn to love it as much as the rest????
