SENSE OF HUMOR!!!! i must be totally insensitive and out of touch. i thought the video was funny, it made me laugh and i was entertained. i didn't read all the sexual overtones. yes, the girls were scantily dressed, and yes, plasticene paolo got fresh with them, but THAT WAS IT....nothing else. maybe i'm just shallow... or maybe i just take it for what it is, a video that was made to promote A SONG, not promote violence against anyone or anything.

So help me, I have struggled to impersonate a grownup, i.e., let this thread come to its natural end without succumbing to the impulse to post yet again, letting everyone agree to disagree.

As this strategy would have led to a fatal implosion, I will just point out that talented fans have produced two videos that captured everyone's imaginations -- AtomicVHPunk's storyboard and this maniacal dancing/lip-synching one. By contrast, the "official" video, which someone made for money, lacks both joy and inspiration, and whether you think it's funny or not (obviously, I don't) it is plain smarmy, which Paolo is not.

So I will say to everyone behind the official video what a friend of mine's indignant three-year-old yelled at him, "You're not funny and you're not fair!"

What could be more wounding is that?????

sorry guys, errrrrrrrrrmmmmm that was me, I had just got home from work, and my son was playing the "official" video on You Tube....we both looked at each other, and decided straight away we had to do something to it, we both ran in opposite directions and got changed and added masks....then just let this fantastic song do the rest, if you are wondering why I dont know the words, when we made the video, that was only the second time I had heard it.

Hope it doesn't upset anyone, we just had great fun dancing to it.
