Hey, my name is Joni and I'm from Belfast - I've been working abroad as a holiday rep and didn't know Paolo's music when I got back tho my sister and our friend LOVES him.
He was here on Saturday nite and I managed 2 get a ticket 2 go along with them. Gotta say I was so impressed by his voice, his emotion and his passion, you could really tell he loves his music - I just thought they were fab. We ended up having a really good nite as we ended up back at their hotel having a drink with Jim and Malachy till all hours, thought they were really nice guys with the typical scots humour, which I loved. I actually got a flashback of us getting Jim to say 'There's been a murder in Burger King in Aberdeen' - just coz we loved the accent!! HAHA! No surprise my sister and our friend are chuffed 2 bits by it all as they've loved them 4 ages!! Needless 2 say - I'm now a big fan and just bought the album. So, if they get this - Thanks Jim and Malachy for the piss-up, it was great craic and all the best boys for the future... 'There's been a murder in burgerking in Aberdeen' |

btw..I love it that he plays cajon...cause I play cajon,too He´s playing it with rodds (special kind of drumsticks),that´s quite interesting,nice technique....I wonder whether he´s got the same brand of cajon like mine ??!!! It is such an amazing instrument !!!! Went to the same school as Jim (Thomas Muir) but was a few years ahead of me. His younger bro was in the year below me and they look very alike (I think there's 3 or 4 of them in total). His Dad sorted out my house's plumbing!!
