Just joined this forum so my post is a bit delayed. I met Paolo at the XFM boardroom gig in May last year. My husband had won tickets and to be honest I'd never really heard of Paolo then but went along anyway. Since then, I've been smitten. I bought his album as soon as I could. After the gig Paolo was really patient and we all got to meet him and get photos taken. I also took photos throughout the whole gig. We used a disposable camera and I rushed to the photo shop first thing next morning to get the pics developed. Would you believe the bloody flash hadn't worked (or 'someone' forgot to put the flash on before he took the pics). Not one of the pictures turned out and do you know this, I've never gotten over that!! Anyway, I'm heading to Connect Festival in Inverary so am hoping beyond all hope there might be a wee photo opportunity at some point.

Welcome, Var! So sorry to hear about your misfortune. When it comes to photos, what affects you, affects all of us. lol
 I do understand your loss, though. I haven't got to see Paolo in person yet. Was supposed to last month, but it was canceled. I am still in mourning over that! I'll get my chance in Vegas, though! Connect will be here before you know it , too. Just guessing, but I bet you won't be using a disposable camera this time?

Thank you for your understanding!! Paolo is amazing live, absolutely amazing. There are a couple of great clips from the boardroom XFM glasgow set he did - if you google xfm glasgow+paolo you can see it. Enjoy Vegas!! You're damn right I won't be using a disposable

That is so bad for you Var. I hope you have better luck this time. I didn't bring a camera with me the first time I saw Paolo cause it said no cameras. But the lady (drooling) I mean standing beside me lent me one of hers.( Hi Denise  ) That was so dumb of me and nice of her!! |

When I saw Paolo in Indianapolis last year and got my pictures taken it didn't turn out either. I had my best friend
take it and she didn't do it right. I was so sad and always joke with her about it. haha |

Im sorry to hear about your camera incindent! I would have been so upset! I once had my photo taken with my favourite footballer, and when i developed the photos later, i foun d my sister had cut his head off! I was very angry and upset, but to not have just 1 photo from the hole night of a concert is devestating!! Good luck with Connect fest!! hopefully you'll be succesful!  |
