Hiya Jacq,

I was running amok around your bebo last night looking for photos Razzer

You should have hung about after the gig, thats when Paolo came out to the barrier to chat & gave away tee-shirts... I think he had blue tee-shirts too OR someone gave him a tee-shirt, i'm not too sure but he did have 2 colours in his hands...

The tee-shirts wont be availabe anywhere I dont think, it says on the top that its 'For one night only' so it might have been a one off Frowner

Hi Paula,

Only just uploaded my pics to my laptop last night, need to sort the red eye etc on them, and will try and get them on tonight!!

I waited around for a couple of mins after the gig tooFrownerFrowner Then my other half told me to move it saying no way was Paolo going to come out. God he's going to get an earbashing for that tonight. A guy on another forum said he saw the T shirt at one of the merchandise stalls too, I didn't see it anywhere tho so am more than a bit gutted! I'd happily pay for one too!!!

Can't beleive how big the band has got, the stage looks super busy now!

Jacq xx

It was a T in the Park forum, Paolo chat is minimal on it. They are all too busy talking about the state of festival portaloos instead Big Grin

Jacq - after the snake gig did you & your friends stand outside the tent like a quartet playing your uke's?

No, when I was walking back into the tent I saw about 4 people standing and there were at least 2 uke's getting played and I stopped and played along with mine... I just wondered if that had been you? I know what you look like but my eyes were elsewhere at the time LOL

If you were facing the tent we were at the left entrance, there was 4 of us, 1 being my very tall other half in white posing. I was wearing pink but also had my hair in braids so look a tad diff to normal. Can't beleive we didn't spot each other if we were that close. Can't remember if I actually played mine. I was a little precious with it all weekend as I was so worried one of my pals would break it.

Oh yeah and there was 2 ukes as my friend Lynsey for one too.

I'm glad I was only in on the saturday, i dont think i could have camped with the uke, i'd have been too scared of damaging it.

I saw your pics on bebo earlier, I love the pink wig. I cant believe we were almost standing next to each other at the barrier and didnt see each other, I was at Mick side between a tall man and Tam.

Did you get a snake?

I'll put my Paolo pics on in a seperate album on Sunday, tis a lot of them :L. I didn't get a snake but my darling fiance who was standing bout 4 rows back from me (oh yes we got engaged in March in Italy) asked a girl who caught one how much she would sell it to him for. She said a grand!!!!! For a plastic snake!!

He was so relieved when he saw me waving a uke 5 mins later!!

We hired a Mazda Bongo campervan so it was much easier for me to keep it safe the rest of the weekend, otherwise I'd have been tempted to cut our weekend short and take it home safely ha ha!!

We'll need to meet up at Connect. I'm looking forward to seeing Glasvegas, We tried to see them at T but they closed the tent, I was gutted

I know, the dafty!!! He should have taken it off her, slapped her round the coupon with it then thrown it back on stage, ha ha!! (Not that I condone violence of any sort).

I've not got my ticket to Connect yet, got a few people who are considering going, tho apart from Paolo I don't think the line up is that great compared to the other nights, which is putting some people off. Even asked Yummy Mummy if she fancied coming up for it, but she is mega busy with the kiddies and work, but can't wait for a gig!!

Worst comes to worse I'll go myself, means I can stand at the front for as long as required without boring the other half to death ha ha!!

I'll need to learn the words the new songs tho before Connect, I'm guessing quite a bit of that will be played!! God I can't wait already, should be a longer set that TITP too.

30 mins is just not enough...

We dont have our tickets yet either but theres still a few available, i dont think it will sell out. I'm not too fussed on the saturday line up except for Paolo & Glasvegas really, the one good thing about that is theres no need to rush about like crazy trying to squeeze yourself in at the last minute & The silent disco is going to be there, thats great for a laugh Big Grin

I see Elbow are playing on sunday, I'd LOVE to see this band live, i keep missing them Frowner

Should def be a great day. Will be good to check out a diff festival, knowing I'm going home to my own comfy bed and also in such a beautiful location.

Quite fancy the Dublin festival too, but me thinks I'm just getting greedy.

I think I've heard of Elbow, I'll check them out on Youtube. I much prefer the rest of the line up on the Friday and Sunday but def can't afford a full weekend of madness again. TITP has made a massive hole in my pocket. Frowner
