Dear Sylvia, we understand your feelings, but rest assured that Paolo is so special, so very kind and humble that if you are lucky enough to meet him, you will feel as if you have met a wonderful young man and a kind soul. You will just plan to see him whenever you can. Until we see him again, we have YouTube so we can enjoy his performances all over the world. Keep us posted, please. Cathleen

Hey, woodstock.

I meant to tell you that mabingham and I met the loveliest young men from Italy when we saw Paolo in September at Disney World. I just thought of that because they told us they're going to be at the show in Rome. Big Grin

Thanks for the tip! All the more reason to go to Rome too! Wink Now the problem is my husband's discovered he likes Paolo too (his voice and music...) and wants to come to the Florence concert. Ugh! How can I fall all over myself with my husband there? I warned him that I'm going with my girlfriends and if he goes too, he's on his own. But he always manages to get right up under the stage, which is where I plan to be. Hmmmm. Well, he may need to accept there's now another man in my life (or in my heart at least...). Cheers!

I'm glad I got to go to my first Paolo concert w/out my husband. Once he and The Vipers cames on stage, nothing else existed. Smiler I'm sure it'll be fine though. When my husband finally came to a show, he understood that I'd be kind of in a Paolo coma for a bit. And it turns out he loved the show. I hope you have a blast!

I have mixed feelings about your situation Sylvia.I did like going to Paolos shows without my husband however I do wish he was a fan.He thinks he's just o.k..And quite frankly that hurts!haha!!So the fact that your husband is a fan also is a good thing!
But at the end of the day with or without your husband you are going to have the night of your life! Can't wait to hear all about itSmiler

It'll be interesting to see. Another test to our 23-year marriage. I plan to have a great time, so will we be able to survive the test of Paolomania??? Stay tuned... Cool

Just listening to Paolo's latest album which i bought after hearing Pencil Full of Lead on the radio and have been completely blown away. It is like a combination of all the best bands my folks brought me up on. There is a bit of Ska, Northern Soul, Al Green and much more. It is the best album i have heard for so long. Just awsome!!

I agree too. I try listening to other CDs but then always go back to Paolo--especially Sunny Side Up! Can't help dancing to Pencil... My family thinks I'm possessed. I guess I am...

One thing I don't get--I've heard Paolo being compared to Al Green before who I love also. I listened to Al today to hear the similarity, but don't get it. What am I missing? I hear much more folk mixed with late 60s/early 70s rock and not just sure what else. He has such a unique style I can't put my finger on it. He says his greatest inspiration comes from Rod Stewart. I can hear that. They're even talking about writing a song together. Let's get to his shows now, 'cause if he performs with Stewart that will really put him on the map and make him TOO much of a celebrity. Smiler

My daughter is always saying "Be careful what you wish for" in regards to Paolos success..Just because of that...'TOO much celebrity'..He is just sooo modest and I just adore that about him.And all my friends call me the (Paolo Pusher)..hey...whatever!! right?? I just wish him so much success..( i think )..

And yes..Sunny Side Up....I repeat...Can't get Enough!! I just don't even begin to get sick of it...Every song is special!!

Hi Lynn. It's great to be in touch again. I've been really busy lately and haven't been online much. Anyway, ditto to all you said! Take care.
