I don't think you're aware of how badly we want to hear from you (or one of your representatives, at least) just to let us know what is going on in your life. When I went to this site today, I was so delighted to see some new info concerning you and the plans you've made. There was a long dry spell without any word...I check this site almost daily, and since you're one of my favorite music artists now, you're on my mind often.

I know it must be hard for you, with so many people, and obligations in your life; and needing "me" time. But so many people who'll never have the opportunity to really know you, hold you dear to their heart, and would be satisfied with just a little more insight into your day to day world. Many of us carry you with us just about every day: in our i pods, car cd players, on our home sterios, etc. and we see you as an important part of our lives. I know it would be impossible for you to recognize us all individually, but if you could just work in some little tidbit at least once a week, that would be so nice. Even if it is something not directly from you, but from one of your management representatives...I don't want to put pressure on you, God knows you have a lot more of that coming soon. But just thought I'd put my two cents worth in. I'm sure all of us won't be too hurt if this is not possible for you. You matter most...we just enjoy anything you send our way!!!

I don't think you have to beg Paolo to play anywhere, he loves what he does and would probably play anywhere he was invited to.

I dont mean you personally inviting him, i mean venues & clubs wanting to book him.

Paolo seems to have many awestruck fans...quite an accomplishment for a young man of twenty-one!

Hope he realizes how important it is to have a good relationship with his fans...they are the ones who are inspired to buy the music, the merchandise, and attend the concerts. A little love sent our way, goes a long way. From what I've heard, he appears to be quite kind and and gracious upon meeting the fans. But a lot of people don't get involved with the meet and greet events, and are left wanting...That's why I think it would be a fun thing for him to post a little something more frequently than he does. Nothing too involved...

One thing I've had on my mind is if it is really true that Jim is leaving the band? Some of the people on the forum have said he is leaving and that someone has already been chosen to man his post. I haven't seen anything official regarding this...I may have overlooked it? I'm not sure just what the relationship is between all of the board members and Nutini and the forum administrators? How did anyone find out Jim was leaving? It was said, I believe, that the parting was on good terms, but stil it seems like this could really affect Paolo. They've collaborated together on songs, and been associated with one another since Paolo was about 15, (if I remember correctly...)So you would think that this has to be a real shake up??? Maybe not...I don't know. But I would be very interested to hear some official statement regarding this. We're going to have to get used to someone else in Jim's place...heck, maybe Paolo has brought in several new members??? ...To play all of those new instruments...So many questions...I know change is inevitable in life...Still, I'll miss Jim And I feel the need to hear "The rest of the story?"

I dont think Jim leaving will play any part in Paolo's performance, they are friends first and foremost. As for an offical announcement I think we'll just have to see for our own eyes when they start touring next month

Paula, Thanks for letting me know what you can tell me...But I've always been the type to have a lot of questions. Wish I could stop at just wanting the music itself...But I'm always interested in the people behind it, as well. I love biographies; yet I know things happen in relationships that really shouldn't be told to everyone, and I understand that. If something is too private to be told, so be it. It doesn't hurt to ask the questions...some people actually love to talk about themselves and their relationships. Those that don't, have to be respected. You also have these celebrity tell-all books that are published so often these days...and you come away from them wishing they had just kept all the sordid details to themselves!

Yeah, you have to push your local radio stations to play his music,... then they along with the venues and promotional companies will get Paolo there.

I just recently started working for a promotional company, I hang posters,... street teamer.... the groups/artists come on their own at times (or newer groups/artist work with promotional companies), but it is up to us the fans to push the radio stations to play the music we want to hear... then the radio stations along with the venues and the promotional companys,....like AEGLive and Live Nation....etc bring the artist's to town.
