Hello,

I feel weird leaving a commit on here, I don't even know if you will get it....anyways I'm a new fan of your music, and I attended the House of Blues, in San Diego, this last Wednesday. I very much enjoyed the music, the band, and the amazing gift you have. However, I was a little disappointed with your connection with your fans and audience. Your music is very up lifting, but I didn't really feel that coming from you. I've only seen you in concert this one time, and you are very passionate with what you do, but I did not feel you wanted to share that passion with us. I would try to talk or somehow acknowledge your fan in some way.mcangel47@yahoo.com Wink

Thank you,
DD

If the SD House of Blues is like the rest of them I will never go to another. They were rude to the patrons and the no pics rule isn't right when over half of the patrons take pics with their cell phones. When I was leaving someone that works there went to the management who started cussing and saying well who is it a customer or one of them. Whoever them are. Fridays and Saturdays concerts were much better, Sat probably best. And the theaters were beautiful, didn't look like my 9 year grand daughter decorated it.

Oh DO NOT get me started on HOB policy. I have NO idea what their problem is about the cameras. Here the HOB has tried to tell me that it's to protect the artist - which is the biggest load of bull imaginable. Amazing how the artists are NEVER upset and some even ENCOURAGE pictures during gigs - except at the HOB?? It wouldn't be so bad if they were at least consistent in enforcing the policy. I've only been to the HOB twice. The first time I was asked if I had a camera and then wanded. The second time I went with friends and they didn't even search our purses much less wand us! I saw some people wanding other patrons. Then later during the concert security people were just telling people who got their cameras in to stop. Didn't even take the camera like they threaten to all the time. The artist did an m&g after and we didn't have a camera.

We called the next day and gave them H*LL for it!

You're right about the decor too. Looks like they bussed in some school children and their art teachers to save paying someone to do the job. I guess it's "art" but did they have to cover every millimeter with gaudy paint and glittery stuff? Really?

It's rotten that you all had such a rotten experience at the HOB.

My at the HOB in Orlando was terrific from start to finish.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great performer, and his vocals are outstanding. However, I think there’s a certain responsibility an artist takes on when he is ready to share to the world his talents. It is to inspire his/ her fans. After I had left that night, I cannot deny my feeling of disappointment.

The HOB on Orlando must be the reason they're still in business. I've heard nothing but complaints about HOBs enforcement of their camera policy everywhere else.

That's too bad. I've seen him three times in the last two months and each show was pretty amazing. I left each show feeling like I was on cloud 9 and ready to take on the world.

Perhaps Paolo had an off night, or perhaps you were expecting too much?
