I remember my uncle buddy, (who was a navy man) saying it when I was little..... He would never tell me what it meant, then in the mid 80's I think it was, there was a movie called, "Blue Thunder", with Roy Schnieder, (sorry, don't know the spelling of his last name), and they used and said it in it...

That's how I learned what uncle buddy meant when he used it. I always knew it meant something like that, but it was blue thunder that explained it for sure...

Why can't it be named after a woman again? If he's married or has a girlfriend, he should name it after her.

Rachell is still up for grabs if anyone is interested Big Grin

Because all bass guitars are male. That's just the way they are made. Wink

No, no, no. In this thread we are trying to guess what Mick is GOING to name his bass. Big Grin

Aren't we helping him name it-he is going to pick one of the names suggested here??!!

Yes, but in suggesting names aren't we inadvertently attempting to guess which one he might choose and, therefore, just guessing what he WILL eventually call it?

I get ya now!

A long long time ago in a land called columbus ohio,.... I lived in a horrible area of town....YIKES...

Anyway, we had a dog for protection. He was a sweet sweet doberman....

A criminal could break in and load up his bag, but could not leave. Our dog would not let them exit..... The were stuck until we and the cops arrived...lol

This lovely dog's name was Sinsie.... He was named after a particular plant that we loved...lol

So, another suggestion is Sinsie....

How about "Xanthe" meaning blonde, since it's a fair-colored bass?

OR

just "Walker" as his fingers walk across the bass?
