Just passing on a message...

"Just want to say that "The Quilt" has blown us all away. We stood about looking at it for a long time shaking our heads at the work that went into it....not to mention the love. You really are a nice bunch of people. Aff yer heids but in a nice way. Hope everyone had a good time in Vegas. That's the impression I'm getting anyhow.

Sorry for your loss Norma. Only time heals.

Awwww....that's great!

To Malky:
Yes, we had a great time in Vegas and thanks to everyone for making it great. I'm only disappointed about one thing and I think you know what it is. Wink "Aff yer heids"? Yes, that may be the case but at least we're not boring! Big Grin

Hi Malky.....I'm typing this at 5:30 am...so i know i'm not right in the head....or is it the margaritas i deank last nite
that woke me up?...the first thing i thought when i woke up was ....read the FanForum!...how crazy is that?...if this is madness then it is f___ning wonderful! Boy was I surprised to see Paula's post from you!

When i attend a concert it starts from the time i see you, Slouch and now Brian on stage....thank-you for all your hard work and dedication for getting the sound 'just right'! You are a Pro and always come to the rescue when things suddenly go wrong equipment-wise...Thanks for the many times you have saved the day! Telluride was especially challenging with the sound glitch and the fact that the altitude makes the stringed instruments quickly go out of tune...good job!

The Quilt was a tangable way for us to thank Paolo for the pleasure he brings to our lives....
A few hours of sewing versus hours and hours of writing, practicing, performing and recording and let us not forget...bus-touring... that Paolo and the Band does to give some LOVE to the world...the quilt seems like not enough ...but it will have to do for now.

I'm glad you could feel the love in it.. as those of us that had the time to make a square were thinking of ALL of you while we made them...and those who couldn't make a square, were sending us their support and good vibes..

I hope the coming years bring ALL of us...Paolo...Fans,Band,Roadies ....and our families more Musical Joy and Good-Times...Bigger Love, KIMPY

Not the first time ive been accused of being crazy but if thats true, ive never been more happy about it then now because all of the love, affection, and appreciation that was put in to that quilt by those who did and didnt make actual squares was received in kind. It makes it all worthwhile. Thank you Malky for commenting, it made my day!

Malky:
Thank you once again for getting Paolo's set list for me....it made my night! Also, thanks for all your dedication to Paolo and his band mats. Without you, will let's just say, it would be a whole different gig. Although I did not participate in the quilt, my heart was there just the same. All of us have very large hearts and love for all of the band, you and your new helpers, and of course BIG LOVE for Paolo! See you next time Paolo is back in the US. BIG THANKS!

Oh Malky!!!

It was a pleasure seeing YOU and the lads again. Your big smile always warms the heart. It warmed mine when I saw you and hugged you. I was blown away by your remembering that the last time we saw you was Atlanta. YOU have an awesome memory, man! The gig was outstanding in Las Vegas, Kudos to you, Paolo and the lads. See you all again soon! Cheers and Big LOVE!

Dear Malky,

Thank you for the kind words. The last time I talked to my Dad was to say good-bye when I left for the airport. He knew how excited I was for the trip and told me me to have a great time and enjoy myself. He was a Scotsman himself and enjoyed Paolo's music whenever I drove him around-although he really had no choice. Thanks again and I hope to meet up with everyone again soon.

Malky,

Thanks for the review on the quilt. It was fun to participate in the project and so rewarding to see the presentation. I have not had a chance to meet you yet, but I hope to when you swing through San Francisco on the tour. Can't wait!
