But if you don't ask it won't give him the chance to say yes either. Wink

Oh, I know he would be thrilled to be driving around with "I heart Paolo" plates...It would be easier squeezing water out of a rock!

No, the plates aren't real. But I keep teasing my family that I'll do it! I'm such a geek.

I didn't think they could put a heart on license plates like that. You'd have to do "I LUV PAOLO" or "I LV PAOLO" depending on spaces there are to work with. How about "PAOLO IS HT"? Wink

The lyrics of this wonderful song remind me of Paolo :

Killing me softly with his song
( Roberta Flack ) That is such a beautiful song and I remember it all so well. Yes,I too will also think of him when I hear it. Smiler

Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly with his song,
Telling my whole life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song ...

I heard he sang a good song, I heard he had a style.
And so I came to see him to listen for a while.
And there he was this young boy, a stranger to my eyes.

Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly with his song,
Telling my whole life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song ...

I felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd,
I felt he found my letters and read each one out loud.
I prayed that he would finish but he just kept right on ...

Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly with his song,
Telling my whole life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song ...

He sang as if he knew me in all my dark despair.
And then he looked right through me as if I wasn't there.
But he just came to singing, singing clear and strong.

Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly with his song,
Telling my whole life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song ...

He was strumming, oh, he was singing my song.
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly with his song,
Telling my whole life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song ...
With his song ...

My son, Jake. We aren't going to let him start smoking until he's 8 so it will be next year before I can get a shot of him with a cigar. Smiler

So incredibly adorable, tousled hair, and all Smiler

Looks like he could be Paolo's son! Brother? Even Paolo himself as a child... So cute.

The great sense of passing through...

I know there are most interesting topics dealing with Paolo's new songs and their lyrics but as I can't express what I think in an international language I hope you'll understand if I contribute to the board posting (em..maybe "stupid") things like this :
