Hellooo!

Any of you folk going to T in the Park on the 8th July to see Paolo?

If there's a bunch of us - do you fancy trying to meet up among the crowds for a wee lemonade -and then we can try and muscle our way into the front of the main stage to make sure we can get a good eyeball of Mr Nutini? There's 3 of us coming down from Aberdeen and then we're staying in Dunfermline overnight - well that's the plan.

I got a copy of the performance times for all the gigs so it gives you an estimated time for each of the acts on whichever stage they're playing. It says Paolo's on (I think - from memory - cos I left it at work) from 1545 to 1620 or thereabouts.

Spick to ya later!

Aunty Kat

I will of course be there too peeps!!

Talked the boyf into going, first time we'll be going, I will be living relatively luxouriously from the transit van I am hiring for the weekend!!

Would love to get a decent spot at the stage for the Sunday, but guessing its going to be highly unlikey, bet he'll be like a dot from wherever I end up!

Less than 2 weeks to go, woohoo!!!

I still have to buy a portapotti and P mates though, I am sssoo disorganised!!

Sambista,

A portapotti is exactly what you think it is, there is no chance I am getting caught short in the middle of the night. Of course it will not be coming home with me, I think it will find its resting place in a skip perhapsBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin

P mates are a wierd and wonderful invention meaning our bots never have to touch the seat of a portaloo!!!!!!

I am too much of a woose to camp, so for those of you who are brave enough, I doth my cap at you!!!

I hated camping at T in the Park!

Some useful tips for anyone camping at T or any festival.

Don't pitch your tent by a scenic row of tree's - These become urinals during your stay!

Don't pitch your tent along side the makeshift paths - your tent becomes the urinal!

Don't use the guide ropes on your tent, it will stay put with just the pegs - unless you want tent crashers!

Take LOTS of toilet roll - I have made many friends through a (spare) roll of andrex.

Paracetamol & Imodium are a must - you just never know the minute.

Take wet wipes for a quick but effective 'wash'

Buy & take your booze with you into the campsite beforehand - its £££'s cheaper than buying them in the campsite.

Just an wee extra bit of advice & tip from last year - you need BOTH your ticket & your wristband to gain entry to the campsite at ALL times throughout the weekend. I saw 2 folk with campsite wristbands on being refused entry to the main arena because they had lost their ticket & had to pay an extra £75 to get in. I sh*t you not! (They were ALREADY in the campsite)

take care - stay safe & have the best weekend of your July Wink

Bring it on....
