I second that.

Check out www.myspace.com/paolonutini for some killer tracks. My fave at the moment is 'Jenny Don't Be Hasty'

I just listened to that track myself and absolutely loved the guy's voice. It's good to know that some talent comes out of Paisley once in a while! I'm hopefully going to see him in Glasgow in March, anyone else got plans to see him live?

Paolo aint the only great talent to come from Paisley... Jill Jackson of the female variety is also an extremely talented musician from Paisley.. www.jilljackson.uk.com (..when its up and running!) but check out her myspace www.myspace.com/jilljackson1

Im Laura and saw Paolo on tour with Speedway (Jill's old band with Jim (..one of the musicians that works with Paolo!) and a couple of other lads) a couple of years back and fell in love with him! Really really hope i can make it to a gig or two but i work shifts at work and can be working anything upto 8:30pm Mon-Thurs or 10 pm Fri/Sat and 7:30pm Sundays =(

Guys,

When Paolo toured with Speedway, he was only 17, he also sold t-shirts and took photographs for the website.

During this tour, at the the Metro Club in London Paolo sang his socks off, which helped him get his record deal!!!

He's now a vetran at 19!!

I'm Dan and heard about Paolo midway through last year and, low and behold, continue to be impressed. Unfortunately couldn't make it to the 12 bar gig but I'm working on getting down to one soon!

I'm Jenny and I'm 16. I first heard Paolo at the Bedford when I was there to see an artist called Alistair griffin back in 2004. I thought he was brilliant then and I'm very interested to hear some of his new songs live now.

Paolo fan since 2004.

I'm Dawn... probably pretty obvious Roll Eyes I also discovered Paolo at the Bedford at the same time as Jenny and Lisa when I went there to see Alistair Griffin. I have seen Paolo about 7 or so times since then.

Do you know what that 'Spaceman Song' is called Morsecode? It would be nice if Paolo sang it again!

I'll be going to see him on Thursday Cool

Dawn,

Thanks for joining the Paolo forum and look forward to meeting you on Thurs at the London Show. The "Spaceman" song is called "outerspace" and I don't know if Paolo would perform that one live during this short tour. However, it could become a "B" side or extra track somewhere along the way.

I'll let Paolo answer this one once he comes on line.

Hi Smiler
I'm Jo (which should also be quite obvious, lol) and I'm from Liverpool but at University in York at the moment. I also saw Paolo at the Bedford in August 2004 when I went to see Alistair Griffin, and have been enjoying him via Dawn's recordings and the Bedford's webcam since then!

Thankyou for the reply Morsecode Smiler

I have only heard Paolo sing it twice at the Bedford in August and November 2004 but not at all since then.

Looking forward now to the show in London tomorrow!!

Paolo certainly was a young man back in the days of him doing his apprenticeship into getting to know the buisness. Suprised he doesnt have a map of the industry all over his body now! Can remember Paolo with the mic stand in one hand and a bottle of booze in the other... disgraceful young underage drinking Mr Nutini. You're a very bad role model, but least it gives me an excuse for underage drinking too! Heh!

Ha! Not quite sure if Paolo is quite a veteran yet, but he certainly did start young. He can mature with the music though. Cant wait to see him live again, havent been able to make any dates since the Speedway ones =(

Just please dont mention Paolo's merch position again... Stupid Snelly (Jill Jackson) putting me on the spot Roll Eyes

Ps.. wahey for another person in Yorkness Big Grin
