Just to let them know you are interested in taking it a step further. You can alway say you want to either confirm or know what the process and timetable is for them to fill the position. (This reminds them that time is awastin and that you are confident and assertive and they won't want you to get away from them.) Go get em girl. It's making me bonkers that there's nothing I can do for my book but wait while my publisher's editors have their wicked way with it.
Well, that's not entirely true. I wrote a commercial for a music festival, and the same video production compan has agreed to shoot a promo for Subjugation as well. So I'm writing the scirpt for that, storyboard and all.
But there's nothing I can do for the book itself, so that leads me straight back to bonkers. Not that I was ever very far from it.
So, how about it? What sort of spirits can be had here?

A little shot or two of Maker's Mark (bourbon whisky) always settles my husband down...

Glad your book is coming along... sorry all that is involved it's frustrating you at the moment.

Overall, sounds like you have a lot to be excited about!!!
