We did our bit for ya.

Nice to know you're shitting your pants about us coming up as you rarely beat us and will probably struggle next year.

Fcuk wasps, hows the Tesco plans coming for the renovation of GP? Would make Bentford a much better place with a lovely big Tescos with 4 pubs on the corners

And you had all of........1, not counting the last game of the season when ALL the glory hunters came out

and that game was against us!!

Take a look at your ground, only just better than Luton's, which is a non league team now.

Promotion was the aim, promotion we achieved therefore a successful season, especially with a new manager and a load of new players.

Do you know nothing?

Andy Scott was there last season, therefore knew the players BEFORE the start of the season, do you not even know about your own team?

We blew nothing, we got promoted and had the best record against the top teams in the league, which puts us in a stronger position for next year.

Wycombe also hold the world record for the fastest scoring of 2 goals (9 seconds) and being the only team to have been in the semi final of all FA competitions, which will never be beaten.

Ian Dury, Jimmy Carr, Colin Baker and James Corden to name a few were born and/or educated in Wycombe to name but a few.

This makes some good reading for all those Brentford fans out there.....

On 30 May 2006 Allen announced his resignation as manager of Brentford and the club named Leroy Rosenior as his successor on 14 June 2006. On 18 November 2006, following a run of 16 matches without a win - leaving the side in the relegation zone - Rosenior was sacked as manager, after the team lost 4-0 at home to Crewe. Following Rosenior's departure, youth team coach Scott Fitzgerald was appointed manager on a full-time basis on 21 December 2006 with Alan Reeves acting as his assistant. Fitzgerald was unable to turn around the club's fortunes, and Brentford were relegated to Football League Two - English Football's 4th tier - in April 2007. Fitzgerald left the day following confirmation of Brentford's relegation, with youth team manager Barry Quin due to act as caretaker in the managerial role until the end of the season.

What odds can I get on Brentford being relegated next season? Luckily they have a pub on every corner so they can go drown there sorrows when they go straight back down again Wink

This thread is so funny. Looking at the Wycombe stats reminds me of so much non-league. Wycombe's rivals are Slough, Maidenhead and Wasps.

Bob Lord Trophy. Put that on your CV. Get back to banging your non-league drum.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

"the club spent its early years in the lower divisions of the Football League and achieved little of note"

"The club was relegated in the first season after the War, and a downward spiral set in, which culminated in relegation to the Third Division in 1953-54 and the Fourth Division in 1961-62."

and lastly

"After a 45-year absence, Brentford were promoted back to the Second Division in the 1991-92 season as Third Division champions, though they were relegated again the following year."

^ heed that as a warning!
