Just shows how old I am!! I thought Monkey was a Japenese TV programme from the 80's Frowner

Both the TV programme and the opera are based on the same Chinese story - Journey to the West - originally published in the 16th century.

Part of the story is also the basis for the song Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head from Demon Days by Gorillaz. It's obviously a story Damon is very interested in and inspired by.

I'll defnitely be trying to get tickets to go along to the opera, I've been wanting to see it ever since the performance in Manchester last year. It's all performed in Mandarin; should be fascinating.

some of my drunken messages on villatalk are a disgrace

the problem ive had at uni is that im doing a public policy course so essay often end up containing a lot of pubic policy/discourse/opinion

The tickets at the Royal Opera House are not in sale for the moment, as soon as i have news i can let you know. I have to improve my Mandarin!!
