Rich...32...mmm that's one hell of a porky pie now isn't it. I'd be surprised if his nose hasn't grown the next time we see the bequiffed mr happy chops.

Never mind how old Rich is, we're all going to be a LOT older before we see album three. Or was that already a given? Wink

What do you think will happen tomorrow, I daren't watch them at the moment its like its a knockout, they have to start having some luck soon.

Yes our luck has to change. I was blaming my husband because he went to the two matches last week. We beat them last year without Gerrard and Torres. Fingers crossed.

That was a right rolling groan from Rich. So the last album, which I bought, along with the singles, the gigs I went to, the T shirts I bought etc were for 'an unhealthy thing'. Thanks lads. Granted, it wasn't Stars of CCTV but it did have some merits. It's not the kind of comment a fan wants to hear is it - I can get that from NME any day of the week. Let's put that well and truly behind us and get some new stuff out - even elephants don't take this long to give birth.

I'm sorry Nessa but i don't think he wanted to be rude with his fan. If you are a fan you can understand what he said! If you like this band it's because you have a particular feeling with what he said (they said) no? if it's not the case why do you love them? He's honest and i like it. Give them time. You prefer to see them coming back quicky and fall or wait more and jump!

When I first read it I thought it could be interpreted that way, too, I have to say. But don't forget that this is likely to be a specific selection of quotes from a larger interview. I reckon he might have meant more that some of the writing came from an unhealthier, darker place.

The way I read it was, it was unhealthy because of all the feelings that surfaced during the making of it as most of the songs seem to be about the loss of his parents. It probably displayed his vulnerability and hurt for everyone to see. One of the reasons I like his songwriting so much is because he writes from the heart and most of the songs I can understand what he is trying to say. (however I could be completely wrong)

If Rich was refering to his feelings when writing the songs then that would be a healthy thing and cathartic in which case I am all for it but he should remember that mis-quotes / easily misinterpreted quotes will follow him round like a dead albatross.
