Some of you have had the chance to see Hard-Fi playing manies times i suppose so :
What are the better and the worse |

I've only seen them once.
Good things: They were brilliant They played 'You and Me' Bad things: I was really far back Massive venue |
|||
|
Wembley was good - great for them to see the crowd they could pull in.
Koko was much better because it's a more intimate environment. Then again I've always had a soft spot for the Camden Palais. Would have liked to have seen them in Brixton - good venue. Wherever they perform they give their all and make it a great party atmosphere. Not a group for those who just like to sit and watch - full participation is what's needed. That's why the people on Youtube who slag off their live performances haven't got a clue. Clips from mobile phones are useless to gage the night. |

Unfortunately I have only managed to see them once in Brighton, even though I had tickets for both Koko and Wembley (let down at the last minute on both occasions by friend and husband being ill). Brighton was brill, just can't wait to see them again.

I haven't seen them live yet unfortunately. Shame, because I really want to!

Here's a clip I took at the Dublin gig http://www.myspace.com/_watb_ |

That's a great clip, nice and clear. Surely that wasn't a mobile? If it was it's much better quality than most posted on youtube which attracts the moronic element to comment, because the sound quite often seems to be distorted. (As opposed to it being Rich's voice which unfairly gets blasted. Don't understand people watching a clip of someone they don't like.)

Best? Oh god, what a choice. Will have a think about it and edit this.
Worst? Most definitely Brighton May '06. I decided to go last minute and the ticket didn't arrive until the morning, whilst I was at work. Had to dash home for it, missed one train to Brighton, got the next. Missed all the support, including Graham Coxon From there, it was a nightmare trying to get back to London as there are no trains after 9pm (why??) so had to wait around near the pier until nearly 2am just to get to Gatwick and I do believe it was about 4.30am before I got home, for work the next day at 9am This was only the second time I'd seen them but thankfully, not one gig afterwards, not even wretched Wembley, was as bad as that one. Thank the lord. |

It was shot on my Sony Cybershot digital camera not a bad effort after about 10 pints ! |

European Tour in 2005 was great.
A night in Cologne and then on to Brussels for a meeting with WATB and This Is Staines. Played Sick of it all in Cologne as well as Feltham. Bloody brilliant. |

I saw them the night before and the whole night was tremendous. I was amazed at the age range in the crowd, never seen anything like it before or since. And there was a HF dj set after which was pretty cool, too. Every second was quality from start to finish, somehow; I just had a wild time. The gig at the Hippodrome in September was immense, too, I thought, apart from that tosser in the second row threatening to cut me. |

Why do you think I'm wanting there to be another tour soon... |
